TND and Aperture: Asia & Pacific Film Festival

The Next Day is working with APERTURE: ASIA & PACIFIC FILM FESTIVAL, which returns for its second edition shortly, bringing audiences more fascinating journeys in moving image through the regions – the festival will run 4-13 June in London before touring around the UK, returning to London in September.

The festival has a fantastic lineup, presenting some of the boldest, most daring and striking works from around the whole of the Asian region and Oceania, with films from Kazakhstan, Thailand, New Zealand, Indonesia, Bhutan, Tibet and more - TND followers should keep an eye out for POETIC VOICES: A Trip Through the Taiwanese Avant-garde of the 1960s in particular and a special screening of the Taiwanese classic A Touch of Zen.
